This policy explains what information Battle Arena: Legends (“the game”, “we”, “us”) collects when you play the game in Telegram, visit this website or use the free entry form, why we collect it and what choices you have.
1. Who is responsible
The game is operated by the Battle Arena: Legends team. For any privacy question or request, write to support@battlearena.online.
2. What we collect
From Telegram, when you open the game
Telegram passes Mini Apps a signed set of data about you. We store: your Telegram user ID, first and last name, username, interface language and the link to your public profile photo. We do not receive your phone number, your contacts or your messages.
Game data
Your hero, race, levels, items, currencies and $SYD balance, battles and raid history, quests and medals, friends, clan membership and clan chat messages, draw entries and prizes, settings (language, sound, notifications) and the links to social media posts you submit for verification.
Technical and security data
For each sign-in: IP address, the country derived from it, browser or app details (user agent), a technical device identifier and the time. We use it to protect the game and the prize draws from multiple accounts, bots and fraud.
Free entry form
If you use the free entry form in the Official Rules, we store the email address and Telegram username you enter, plus your IP address and user agent.
This website
The website does not use cookies or analytics. Your browser remembers the language you picked on your own device. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address under Google's own privacy policy.
3. Why we use it
- To run the game: your account, progress, battles, friends, clans and rewards (performance of our agreement with you).
- To hold the prize draws fairly, credit prizes and stop fraud, bots and multiple accounts (agreement with you and our legitimate interest in a fair game).
- To send you game messages through our Telegram bot — for example a prize you won or a tournament reminder. You can switch reminders off in the game settings.
- To answer your requests and keep the service secure and working (legitimate interest).
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for profiling for advertising.
4. What other players see
Your game name, profile photo, hero, level, league, title, frame and clan are visible to other players — in raids, leaderboards, clans, friends lists and lists of draw winners. Draw participant lists are anonymous: everyone sees only participant numbers and entry counts, and only you see your own number.
5. Who else processes data
- Telegram — the platform the game runs in, under Telegram's own privacy policy.
- OVHcloud — the hosting provider of our servers in the United Kingdom.
- Error reporting — technical details of crashes may be sent to an error-tracking service so we can fix them.
- Social networks — when you submit a post for verification, we read that public post through the network's public embed service.
- Advertising partners — if the game shows an ad you choose to watch, the ad network processes data about the ad view under its own policy.
- drand — the public randomness network used in draws receives no personal data.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and game data — for as long as your account exists.
- Sign-in and security records — 90 days.
- Free entry form requests — as long as needed to process them and keep draw records verifiable.
- Backups — overwritten within 14 days.
When you delete your account, your profile and game data are deleted. Past draw records keep only an anonymous participant number and entry count, so that past draws stay verifiable.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or transfer it. You can delete your account at any time in the game: Settings → Delete account. For anything else, write to us. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
8. Age
The game and the prize draws are intended for people aged 18 and over. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be announced in the game.
